"My wife and I stayed at Shumbalala for 6 unbelievable days . It was the most incredible 6 days that we will look back on fondly for many years to come. The overall experience was unbelievable, The food prepared by Liam and his team was fantastic and the variety was great. Dani and the lodge staff made sure we were looked after at all times from amazing gin cocktails at the pool to welcoming us back to the lodge with Amarula in the evenings. Now to the best part...the game viewing experience was out of this world. Edward and Peter were a wonderful team and were so knowledgeable about the Thorny Bush reserve. We saw everything from a wild dog hunt , many lions to leopards and all the rest! We would absolutely go back in a heartbeat!!"

This was a most incredible experience. Can not say enough about the luxurious lodging, quality of food and the outstanding service. Everything was perfect. Memories of a lifetime. Saw the big five and then saw things like mating leopards, newly born elephant and packs of wild dogs. Incredible.

Such amazing service and wildlife sightings while travelling in the Kruger! Shumbalala is on point form the personalized details in the rooms, knowledgeable guides for safari - walking or driving and the most amazing food! Danielle and the team are 5star!!

Our family enjoyed Shumbalala the first time nearly 20-years ago and it changed our grandchildren's lives. Gave them a love for the bush. We have been back numerous times.

Facilities recently upgraded and outstanding
Staff & service - 10* Jeandra, Danielle & staff treated us like kings
Wildlife sightings - magnificent! Saw the Big 5 numerous times during our stay
Food - excellent.

What we like about this 'camp' is the small number of guests (12 max) it takes, ideal for family or friend's.
